The President of Pan Gregorian Enterprises of Metro New York and Long Island, Mr. Dimitri Kafchitsas, and the Board of Directors on behalf of the P.G Fund of Metro NY&L.I proudly announce the 2017 competition for High Schools students who are in good academic standing. The Essay topic is: “Hospitality: The Industry without Boundaries.” Essay competition applications are available by calling the Pan Gregorian office at (718) 728-6000. The deadline for application submission and essays is December 23, 2016

The Pan Gregorian Enterprises of Metro New York and Long Island, Inc., is a New York based corporation established in 1988 and Member of the Pan Gregorian of America L.L.C.  The Corporation’s primary mission and commitment is to establish and sustain programs through which restaurant entrepreneurs can benefit in the areas of operations, vendor relations, and market conditions.  Its charitable Fund has consistently offered substantial support and aid to educational institutions and to a wide area of humanitarian causes. 

The Pan Gregorian Fund is a non-for-profit entity with a mission to advance, support and promote achievement and academic excellence in Education, the Arts and contribute to the Community. The Essay Competition is established to promote and support youth entrepreneurial spirit in educational settings and institutions in the hospitality and food industry.  A monetary award of $2,500.00 will be offered to the winning student on the Fund dinner held on February 26, 2017 at Terrace on the Park, Queens. The results of the Essay competition will be given appropriate publicity.
